Class: Constellation: Cent Data: mag 7.5 size 9' Position: RA 13:46 DEC -51:22 Description: Visible from southern Florida. This object on good nights can be seen low at about 10 degrees above the horizon. Object is just below NGC 5139 near a star of apoximate 4th mag. Class: Constellation: CnV Data: mag 10 size 17x3.5 Position: RA 12:42 DEC 32:33 Description: At time of the observation NGC 4631 was almost at zenith. Aka the "Whale" galaxy...it actually did have the shape of a whale. Companion galaxy (NGC 4627) was also visible (located behind the hump)that appeared almost stellar visble with direct vision. Class: Planetary Nebula Constellation: Puppis Data: mag 12.6 size 2.4' Position: RA 07:47 DEC -27:20 Description: Located less than a half a degree northeast of NGC 2453 (Open Cluster). Makes for a nice view of a PN and a OC in the same field. Overall, circular but more oblate, brightening towards the center, no central star.
