Description:
Nebular, faint appearance with bright nucleus clearly distinguishable but with no 
other features visible. Two stars in the foreground, near the edge of the visible 
area of the galaxy clearly noticeable with the 10 mm eyepiece (120x).

Description:
At 48x (25 mm eyepiece) it has an elongated cigar shape with no distinguishable 
features. At 120x, in very good conditions (exceptionally clear air) and despite 
the light pollution (although not very strong at the site) the obscure middle band 
of galactic gas and dust is distinguishable in lateral vision.
