The bright double star 32 Cam is only 1? from the nebula. I can see IC 3568 at 50x and higher powers, with an stellar appearance. The UHC filter makes the nebula the brightest object in the field. With moderate-low light pollution, 5th magnitude stars were on the edge of visiblity. I could not actually resolve the stars of Omega centauri so well because of the effect of light pollution high above the southern horizon. Well I was really fascinated when I saw M4 because I had never seen it with my 2 inch refractor.
